Play the game looser
It’s hard to not be tense when you are not at budget or where you want to be income wise.
I get it and I’ve been there. Heck I’m there right now!
What is easier though? Getting tighter and nerved up about where you are or stepping out on your playing court every single day like you have nothing to lose?
You don’t have anything to lose.
Life is short, we are all constantly reminded of this, and when your game on Earth is about to be over your 401k amount, profit margins, and percent to goal won’t matter that much to you.
Not to say your career doesn’t matter.
What you will remember is the clients who always had a funny joke, the ones that gave you hell no matter how good of results your produced, and those ideas you came up with that moved the needle or fell flat on their faces.
If that’s what you are going to remember and recall you might as well play the game like the All-Star that you are.
Have some swag, smile often, include hustle and grind at no charge, and try not to sweat the small stuff.
When you play the game looser inevitable your skills will go to another level and you won’t need to leave Oklahoma City for Golden State because you will be playing on our own special “super team”!
Get on the court this Tuesday as though you are on the top of the world and you’ll actually get there a lot quicker than you might have imagined.
