When your funnel is full

Do you want to grow your business?

Their is only one way and one thing you need to do.  That’s the good news.
The tough news is you need to do it every single day or it will start to lose traction immediately.
It’s all about your sales funnel.

If you are in sales or you are a business owner having a full sales funnel is the biggest indicator of whether or not your next eight to twelve weeks will have lots of great stories to share and tell or if it will be a long march towards hitting any goals.

When your sales funnel is full the days seem to go quicker, the relationships are always better, and everyone seems to be in a better mood.
Everything seems to be clicking on all cylinders when the sales funnel is full and it’s a happy place to be.

But how do you get your sales funnel full and to that happy place?
It’s about data, crunching numbers, talking to people like a human, and asking for enough business and appointments that you will be able to hit your goals.

How do you do that?

  1. Look at your goals for the next three months.  Figure out how far away you are from your goals.  For hypothetical measures let’s say you are $40k away in sales each month from where you want to be.
  2. You need to start tracking your closing ratio if you don’t.  But once you know what it is let’s say you typically close 20% of business once you are in the room with someone and ask for it.  That means you need to ask for $200k per month to reach your goal.  Not $40 or 50k.  That’s often where we get tripped up.  Not realizing our close ratio and simply not asking for enough business.
  3. Talk to people like a human.  Don’t pitch.  Find your prospects by providing them value, being normal about it, and showing through things like your Personal Brand (if you don’t have one yet get started HERE!) that you have something to offer.
  4. Ask for enough appointments.  If you get one in person appointment for every five people you ask and the average ask is $20k then you need to speak to 50 people to get the appointments necessary to reach your close goals.

When you breakdown the numbers you need in order to fill your funnel you start to understand what it really takes to have success.

It takes a relentless commitment to understanding numbers and pushing towards them.

But YOU WILL HAVE unbelievable results for yourself, your company, and your clients if you make the decision to understand what it takes to have a full funnel and make the commitment to keeping it full.

Now go rock it out like I know you can.
